That beeping is probably a diagnostic code. Some tvs will beep or flash an LED in failure mode. The number of beeps probably means something to a tech.

Apart from placing a service call, you might try unplugging the set completely from ALL power sources. If it's only plugged into the wall outlet then just unplug it. Be sure to unplug all other devices too (e.g. dvd. vcr). If your tv is connected to a power strip, unplug it from the power strip. You don't want any possibility that power can get to your set in any way. Leave it that way for an hour or so and try again. This can serve to clear some problems.

I'm unfamiliar with your model so I'm afraid I can't help you there.

If my suggestion does allow you to properly turn on your set again and watch it, be aware it may only be a stop-gap measure. It may fail again, especially given its age. You may still need to call for a repair. If you do have to call, I'd be more inclined to call Panasonic first. They will probably point you to a trusted repair shop locally. Always get an estimate. If they want more than the tv's worth, then maybe it's time for a new set.

Best of Luck! ;)
