My Samsung PPM50H2 has a native resolution of 1366x768. When I set Windows to use that resolution, the appearance is okay other than being small from across the room. However, when I set it to use any other widescreen/16:9 resolution, such as 1280x720, the Windows font appears fuzzy/blurred/distorted. It doesn't improve by changing to a larger font. I can use almost any 4:3 resolution and the font looks fine. I've been searching for an answer to this without success. Is there a solution to this issue or am I stuck using 4:3 aspect ratios on my 50 in plasma screen? Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

I am not familiar with the Samsung but this may be typical:

-you want to run the display at its native rate (NR ) 1366 x 768- otherwise the scaler in the display will have to kick in and PQ may suffer

-after you have established NR, you may need to set the display (a menu setting) to a Wide setting- this may be called Wide XGA, or dot bt dot W, or something like that

Hope this helps
