Widescreen tv plug on CBS's Yes, Dear

This is more hardware related and programming, so I'm putting it in this forum. (I'm sure Don will tell me if I posted innapropriately)

I found it interesting that on Monday night's episode of Yes, Dear, the main character mentioned buying a "widescreen" tv, not a "big screen" tv. Shows that the market is indeed changing and widescreens are becoming more mainstream and in demand.

There was a plug for ws 2 weeks back on ABC's According to Jim. He (Jim Belushi) con'ed his wife (Courtney Thorne-Smith) into a ws set. Never saw the front side to see if it was hd.
I must be blind ... I read the title to this thread, and thought I saw:

"... to pull plug on CBS's Yes, Dear"

so I thought they were cancelling it!
Randy - not so sure they were plugging 16X9. In the St. Louis area for years any large projection TV was referred to as "widescreen." I've also heard the usage here in NJ.
