Will 1.1 profile disks play in a Sony bdp-s300 player plus I been reading about blu-ray disk not playing properly in the players. Is this a hardware, firmware or profile issue.

Does any one have any information on this.

Yes, the movie will play. All non 1.1 (Bonus View) features will continue to work on 1.0 players. Now, specific title incompatibility with specific players has nothing to do with Profile level...

So the sony bdp-s300 will be ok. I have 1 back ordered with Fry's for $299.00 if they don't play a fast one on me. It suppose be in tomorrow.
