I have an Onkyo tx-sr606 that will eventually be replaced but due to budget, I need to use it for our new media room.  I'm getting my projector installed next week and plan buying a dual output BRplayer to bypass the AVR for 3d movies.  The question is can I have one output to the projector and the other to the AVR for audio?

Dual HDMI BPDs are generally designed to be able to pass video to the TV and audio to the AVR. The Owner's manual will confirm for you.
