If a receiver or preamp only has 5.1 channel input, is it possible to hook in an EX decoder? I thought it might since the rear center channel is matrixed from the left and right surrounds. I've heard the DTS ES has a discrete rear center channel, so I didn't think this would work unless you had 6.1 channel input.
