Does anyone know if any DLP set that will be produced in 2008 have Dark Chip 4 or will Dark Chip 4 only be seen in projectors?


Will any DLP set that will ever be produced have Dark Chip 4?


is Dark Chip 4 TI's last improvement for DLP?


Why wouldn't DLP manufacturers incorporate it in 2008?

What will be more rare in 2008--Dark Chip 4 DLP or the Ivory Billed Woodpecker?


If Dark Chip 4 from TI isn't used in DLP sets can anyone really tell me that the DLP manufacturers are waiting until next year to implement it?


I think it is a tell-tale sign that DLP is DEAD and there won't be any 2009 DLP.


I think the other tell-tale sign is that no one will answer any of these questions.


I think most don't know the answers but some do and won't answer them because they don't want to hurt the DLP manufacturers with the news that yes DLP is headed for oblivion!


I hope that I am wrong about this.

i think we will be seeing some good stuff in the comming weeks. just wait until after the superbowl so companies can get rid of their old stock , and then the news will start to come. ti has its hands to involved with dlp to just let it die so soon. there is still a good market for these tv's.

TI's website says it will be in 2008 model TVs, we'll have to wait to see which ones.

I did see an Ivory Billed Woodpecker back in the 80s. I think they're still out there.


I think they are as rare as the perfect picture.
