Subject line says it all? If all their sports are in 5.1, when will shows like CSI be in 5.1 as well?

It's odd that the network operations center has the ability to feed 5.1 for these events, and the stations have the ability to receive it and pass it through, yet this can't be done for regular shows.


I could understand if the show producers couldn't provide 5.1 mixes, but that wouldn't stop 5.1 on some shows.

The issue isn't for live events, we know they are 5.1, have a look at the rest of the thread.

even when the shows are in 5.1 mainly the music'll be in 5.1[if they do like abc does]not the main program
