Even though there are adapters to allow DVI to connect to HMDI devices do you think DVI will be looked upon as intermediate technology that will be completely replaced by HMDI is the next few years?


Is it better to stick with traditional components cables and etc for now and wait a few years for HMDI devices to become more common and cheaper?

It will be replaced in a few years, but so what? I'd happily get today's very real DVI benefits.


Why not take advantage of them because the connector will ultimately be superseded?

I just seems like there are alot more options available when using component cables with brands like Denon and etc.

There's even more options available with composite video... it still sucks though.
