I'm about to win the PowerBuy on the 3060. I'm reading so many problems people are having with it. Is there a way to get out of the PowerBuy now? Is my 3060 going to stop working like the other posts have noted? I may just keep my Panasonic 3030, get the extra 4 year warranty given by BestBuy locally, then I won't have to ever worry about it breaking for 4 years. Any thoughts on any of this?

Tony,

Most of us with the 3060 have not had any problems. You are much better off with the Replay vs Panasonic. Besides, you can't beat this price!

I've had a 2004 and now have a 3030 and a 3060. I love the extra capacity of the 3060 and haven't had any problems with it.

I have a 3060 and the only problem that i have had is that the player is smarter than i am. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif The player records 10 hrs of programs a week (local independents and network stations) and it has worked w/o any problems. The only real problem is to make sure you have a local phone number or can extend your calling area (as i did) otherwise you will get socked with a huge phone bill. Get it and enjoy all the shows you never get to watch.
