Will I be happy with a transcoder?

I'm sure you guys have heard / answered this a million times before, but I have a 32" LCD TV that I would LOVE to use as a PC display. Problem is, it's only got component inputs.


Are the inexpensive transcoders like the Audio Authority worth a darn? Would text on web pages be sharp?

Go for it, I had the same transcoder and had no probs with it. Only got rid of it because I have DVI now.

get a video card with component outputs. You'll get much better quality and no worries about proper sync etc.
