Will my onkyo 804 AVR pass 1080p to HD DVD Player
Hi presently own Onkyo TXSR804 receiver , and have samsung 5000 on preorder
Was going to hook up 5000 HDMI directly to Sony 52xbr5 with optical from 5000 to avr 804 receiver
the receiver is practically brand new and just got my new sony lcd tv
was under the impression that 804 would not pass 1080p from tv thru the receiver to the HD players via HDMI
But now am not so sure , so was wondering if there were 804 owners that have 1080p HDTV hooked up HDMI from tv to receiver to HDdvd player
Any help would b greatly appreciated
