I was just wondering if you have to keep your speakers away from a Plasma TV the way you do with direct view TVs.

No, plasma don't care about magnetic. Only CRT's do.

Cool, thanks. I've got a limited amount of space. I was going to get a 60" RPTV, but there wasn't enough room on the wall to allow for proper clearance from my front speakers. So, I ended up getting a 36" Wega. I'd really like to get me either a 42" or 50" Plasma. Now, I just need to win the lottery or something.
