Just wondering as one of my 1080p displays will have a limited number of inputs and it would be nice to take this PS3 which is spec'ed to output 1080p, as a pass through signal into a scaler that does the 480i/1080i to 1080p deinterlacing and scaling.

If the next gen scaler makers don't include support for 1080p passthrough the members of this forum will lynch them (just kidding) so they will of course support it.


1080p is the direction everyone is heading right now.
