I have a BIC f12 and I was wanting to hook it up to my parents Sony HTIB however, the amp/receiver/dvd thingy has a standar +/- speaker line out to the mini sub that came with the kit. This line is obviously powered, how much I dont know, but it is enough to move the 6 or 8 inch woofer that came with it (the sub is not powered any other way).
My question is, can I hook up that positive and negative wire on the left or right posts on the back of the F12 and run it that way? This is only temporary...There will not be a line going back to any speaker, it will just dead end into the sub...will this hurt the sub?
