I'm fairly new to considering my PC as my DVD source as I am about to purchase an LCD or DLP projector. Here is my PC setup which I'll be connecting to my Denon 5803 receiver. Will this be enough to provide a better picture than my Toshiba progressive player and also provide DTS/DD capabilities to my recevier?

Intel Pentium III 1 Ghz processor

Asus motherboard

256 SDRAM memory

40GB Seagate 7200rpm Hard Drive

TEAC 1.44 floppy

Sound Blaster Audigy

Toshiba DVD player

Sony CD-ROM drive

Jetway ATI Radeon VE 64MB SDR TwinView AGP

It's pretty much what I use, so yes it will work. I can not get DTS on mine, but it may just be me (DD is fine). I guess the question is though, why 2 CD-ROM drives, the Toshiba DVD can do both DVD and CD.

actually I do already have the PC with me as I am looking at just upgrading it. How come you don't have DTS? Is this one problem I should expect? Also, is it just really software that emulates line doubling/quadrupling?

Thanks
