Want to get an HD VCR to record OTA programming (no cable). I have a Set Top Box and CRT Toshiba, will I be able to record with this VCR in HD? LG LST-4200A (Set Top Box) and Toshiba 34HF85 (CRT TV)



This is the decription I saw for the product for sale from the seller but not sure if my setup has what is needed to hooked it up, the seller is say it will work with any HD setup is that true? Thanks in Advance.

Your LST-4200A has no firewire out, therefore no, it will not work with the mitsu DVHS.

Generally, D-VHS will only record high-def from a firewire source.


LST-3410A, on the other hand has firewire out and would work.

Thanks that is what I thought he looked to be trying to just make the sale I'll look into getting a different set top box.
