HI,


I have an option to buy a new STF-2 for $346 shipped or get an origional 4 years old VTF-3 for same amount (checked with HSU and woofer is under warranty for 5 years transferrable). Which one is more recommended?

If the guy selling the used one actually took the time to calibrate it and can be trusted to tell you how much/often it was driven hard, I'd take the larger used sub.

I was told that this used sub is used about 4hrs a week for about 4 years, I am non techie guy so Can you give me idea how many years this stuff normally lasts and How difficult is to replace the parts of subwoofer?
