Hi all,



I have intervideo windvd.


Every time i checked a different region in properties and hit apply it goes right back to region one.


I tried all regions and it won't take.


Any suggestions?

I tried checking off each one from 2-6 and when i hit apply it pops right back to region one.


I don't understand why it's not taking.


I never viewed a dvd from a different region ,maybe i'm doing something wrong.


I have a lite-on dvd rom LTD122 if that helps.

I just downl oaded a program ( to see if region was locked) and it said i have 4 left to change regions.


So it's not locked.


Now whaat?

With this utility you will be able to select regions on the fly -if- your DVD drive isn't region locked. I'm going to move this to the Home Theater Computers forum. Feel free to send me a Private Message if you need more help.

Erm you have made sure you have an RPC1 (eg region free) DVD Drive ??


There is both a SW and HW lock...
