I keep getting this error. Its almost always when I have not been using the HTPC but it was on and when I turn the tv back on I get windows media center 7 lost remote connection something something restart WMC. I googled and searched here and dont see any answers. Its not that often but it sucks. I noticed also that when I do reboot and I dont know if this is related but I get no sound after a reboot which means I have to reboot 2x which is doubly annoying. This is an AMD system I should really post all my specs when I get time and keep that as a sig.

Update all your drivers. What is the EXACT error message?

all drivers are up to date and this has done this over the past 6 months with various drivers.


That is the exact message it says windows media center has lost its remote connection please restart wmc.
