Hi all,
I have a problem with Hipix in that recurring recordings overlay themselves in the directory. I am looking for a solution. Here are some questionable approaches I have thought of but I need help to fill in the blanks:
1. Use command-line commands and parameters in Windows scheduler to start / stop / directory / filename / channel, etc. This would avoid the built in scheduling program and permit me to use dates in the directory/file structure to separate recordings.
2. Use command-line batch commands to rename and recreate the default recording directory to a daily recording directory. This would move directory "d:/HDStreams/daily" to "d:/HDStreams/2001-11-11". I would run this at mid-night to move all the day's recordings.
3. Any other approach other than manual file management.
Assuming I can't do number #1 with the current version of Hipix software (2.31), has anyone done #2? Could you advise any software utilities that would make it easier to perform the date driven file management?
Thank you for your attention.
Dennis
