I'm using the WinDVD 4.0 trial version, and can't get DTS passthrough to work. DD passthrough works fine, but DTS seems to be getting decoded by WinDVD, passed to my nForce, and re-encoded to DD. I have also tried using WinDVD 2.6, and get the same result.
This behavior doesn't seem to be a function of my using an nForce for S/PDIF out because PowerDVD 3.0 does DTS (and DD) passthrough just fine with the nForce. I prefer the PQ, SQ, and UI of WinDVD, so I'd rather get this working than use PowerDVD.
I'm using Win2Kpro with an Asus A7N266-C (nforce 415D), fwiw.
Any ideas?
