2 Questions:

1 - It seems I've read somewhere recently that there are conflicts between the ATI DVD player & WinDVD. Is anyone aware of what this is? I've searched and couldn't find anything in the archives.

2 - The reason for the above is that I currently have the ATI player running well, but can't get S/PDIF output of any sort. I assume that ATI > AP2496 should work, but I'm apparently too dumb, so am thinking about installing WinDVD (I still think the video quality of ATI is a bit better than any of the WinDVD's I've seen). Any pointers on getting the ATI to work would be welcome.

Thanks,

Aslan

I understand that it is possible to get the ATI DVD player and WinDVD to coexist. The standard advice is to use DVD Genie to unregister the WinDVD filters.
