Video Effects control is disabled while using HWMC

in video options tabs uncheck the hardware compensation

& Hardware Color Acceleration. After doing that all video effects

will be available for use.

I tried all combinations of hard ware accelerations settings before posting...

nope :( don't work...

But i installed this software on my windows 98se OS,

(i'am aware that it's not supposed to work on this OS), just to test it...

and before rebooting, i got it working : without any sound, but video was ok, and video effects were enabled ! so i tested their depiction...

I'll try to install a win XP Home tonight to see if it works under this OS...

i'll keep the forum posted....

I have the same situation with the effects option. Any clue on how to get this feature to work?

What is video effects? TV out? It is grey for me too. Also, options Audio and Widescreen mode are grey too, what are they?

Also Auto Resume does not work.

Video effect is lame things like changing color to black and white, or sepia, etc. Widescreen only works if HWMC is turned off. Audio only seems to work for DVD and not for external sources or files.

Also have found that DPLII will not work for audio computer files or external audio signals run through analog inputs on sound card. I'm disliking the Recorder more and more. Think I'll go back to Sonic MyDVD for the easy stuff.
