Tried to use i5comp and i6comp to decompress but given exception error?


Heres the process I used:


1) converted the exe to a cab with execab32

2) used winrar to extract the files

3) attempted to use i5comp / i6comp on the extracted cabs... exception error



Any suggestions.

Try searching for the i6comp02 version, that one worked for me when the others wouldn't.


4.5.28.51 looks sweet. I just dumped all the updated .ax files into the WinDVD Platinum folder. I actually prefer straight WinDVD+Video Effector over FFDShow+cinemaster now. Anime looks stunning.

Are you saying that you prefer windvd (the application) over zoom with sonic video + ffdshow?

I've attached the movie effector dvdautograph file (put in that directory).


What I noticed was, if you used the "vifxXXX.dll" files from this update, you will no longer be able to use the movie effector in directshow. I think intervideo may have forgotten to include an updated "moveft.dll" file, because these new DLLs invalidate it.

Hi Blight,


with the addition of the above autograph file I can now see the movie effector in zoomplayer additional filter but if i try to use it without ffdshow selected as well zoomplayer crashes,

using the latest zoomplayer pro (registered) and ffdshow 20030421 and windvd plat ( not updated with the patch)

where did you get that version from, is it the full version or are you referring to the patch,

i have just downloaded windvd recorder and it shows the filter as being 4.5.11.26.

Run regedit.exe first. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Control Panel\\International and find Locale (default is 00000409)


Change 409 to 411 and then install the trial. Change 411 back to 409 after installation is done.
