Downloaded the update to Pro, WINDND Plsatinum and DVRecorder last night.

2 problems:

1. Pro tells me the WINDVD software is not loaded properly even though it accepted my code and seems to be running properly

2. If I check hardware acceleration with my GForce Ti4600 card, the full image only covers the upper left three quarters of the screen and won't allow expansion and movement of the half-box size. If I turn off hardware accel and leave color accel checked it works fine giving full screen. The new pro did this even before I downloaded the new WINDVD software.

Hi guys

Bill, I will look into that error saying windvd is not installed correctly.

The second one, I think I have found the problem to.

When WinDVD turns on hwmc, in the new platinum version, it also sets the "Navigation" setting to 2. I have this option in the tweaker now (next version).

Thinker, WinDVD Tweaker Pro saves all the usual tweaker settings for WinDVD and for the lone filters (zoom player).

Stuttering, try turning on hwmc and dxva. You will have to add them manually to the registry...

manually to the registry...

How do I do that? Are these present and I just need to "add" them somehow to the registry?

In XP the registry area is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\InterVideo\\Common\\AudioDec

and

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\InterVideo\\Common\\VideoDec

Some common video settings are

HWMC

HWCOLOR

DXVA

NAVIGATION

For the latest version, navigation needs to be set to 2 for some reason, when hwmc is on.

WinDVD defaults the navigation setting to 0 for hwmc off and 2 for hwmc on.

Give them a go.

Anybody with more experience with saving settings for the filters, please post.
