I had a WinTV card for a while and was never able to consistently capture ANY sort of moving video. It basically became a frame-grabber so I took it out.
WinTV capture and import into Dvarchive
Has anyone successfully used one of the Hauppauge WinTV capture cards to create an mpg file that could then be imported into Dvarchive? I read a few threads where people encountered problems doing this, but no one said that they had done it successfully. (and if they did do it successfully can you reveal which tools you used).
