I've read a little bit on wireless video extenders and was hoping to get some info from people that have actually used them. I searched the forums here but only found a few threads and the latest one was a few years old.
What I'm trying to do is send HDcable from my living room to several other rooms around the house, but I was hoping to avoid running new line.
Here are the questions I had.
Is it even possible, Are there any models of wireless media extenders that support up to 1080p and can send the signal to other rooms?
Say it is possible, how would the setup work? I'm trying to figure out what hardware I would need to buy. I'm guessing if I want to watch different channels on all the TV's I'll need a receiver and cable box for each TV. Can it be set up that way?
