I'm planning on putting in a 7.1 def tech system in my basement home theater. Since the speakers will have powered subs,(I know that I'll need to run power to all locations)should I run a separate LFE wire for the dedicated sub along with a speaker wire. Or, just plan on using just one speaker wire and set my av receiver to large? I plan on getting a Denon 5800. What's the best way to wire out of the Denon for all these LFE channels? Thanks for your help.

I assume you're talking about the speakers with the built-in powered subs. If that is the case,

It wouldn't be a bad idea to run you LFE wire, however, once you hear the Def-Techs with just the speaker wire I don't think you'd be dissatisfied.

I've set mine up several different ways and the simplest way works great. These speakers have a great internal crossover. As you said, just set your av receiver to large.
