Wiring for Projector

303 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  udoknow
I building my HT room and I want to have wiring run for a projector for the future. I'm planing on having a receiver that does component switching like the 1014 and a projector like the AE700. Could I get away with running one set of component cables through the walls? Also could someone explain what a 12v trigger is used for? Thanks

A 12v trigger works with an electric screen or a reciever if I am not mistaken. The screen, receiver or other device has to have a 12v connector and you plug a cable between the projector and the device. When the projector is turned on, the device it is plugged into would also be turned on. So for instance, if you have the projector and electric screen connected, when you turn on the projector the screen would roll down.
