I was wondering if you can wire a Da-Lite Cosmopolitan electric screen so that it can be PLUGED into a regular wall outlet. I have a wall outlet about 6 feet from the screen.


I picture this plan:


screen motor - wire to IR control - wire to plug in wall


Any comments would be great !!

Without looking at the schematic of how to wire when using IR control, it should be no problem. This is exactly what I did for the same screen, but with 12V trigger control. I cut the female end of a good power cord off, attached directly to the screen wires per the schematic, and now just plug the cord into the outlet.
