which of the many PPV channels in the Replay guide actually map to the PPV channels of dish network? There seem to be about 40 of them on the Replay, but I know there are not more than 15(?) actually on DISH....

Sorry I can't help you. I have them all removed. I've never once ordered PPV on DISH.


You might check with DISH? I believe the numbers should match.

Since guide data isn't populated for the ppv channels, just set up a manual record, where you can put in the actual channel number and not use the Replay's remapping.

What PPV channels are actualy available depends on what Dish(s) you have installed.


With the old standard dish300 (18" single sat) you get 10 or so channels.

(I haven't had dish for a year now, so I forget the exact #s)


With the new Dish500 you get a few more.


With a dish pointed to 61.5 or 148 you get HD-PPV and a few more channels.


I don't think you get different movies, just more times to choose from.

Many people have a Dish500 setup, which usually hits the 110 and 119 birds. If that is your case, then your PPV channels are 500-525!

The Replay doesn't get guide info for them anyway, so I just tune to them directly via the satellite's remote and leave them excluded from the Replay list.
