Witn $3800, Denon AVR-5800 or separates?

I'm just wondering, with $3,800, what amp/pre-amp combos are available that offer comparable features and performance of the Denon AVR-5800 (THX Ultra certified, DTS, DD-EX, firewire and firmware upgradeability, 7 channel amp, etc)?
