Does anyone know if there is a problem eith the digital signal at WJKL FM (94.3) in NJ. I have not been able to recive it for about a week. Called up the radio station and the person who answered did not have any information! He said he would pass it onto engineering at the radio station.

Check from my office in Neptune tonight - HD was still off. Sister station WSJO still has HD up and running....
Thanks!

It amazes me how a station does not even know that they have a problem with their digital radio signal. This is not the first time that I have come acorss this issue. No wonder no one cares for digital radio, the sations themselves don't seem to be interested.
Depends on the station. If any of ours go down, a screamer goes off in all the studios so we know. But then, ours generate revenue. Gotta keep 'em going

It's funny. Until analog cutoff, the same happened with DTV. Transmitters would be off for DAYS before anyone noticed.

Try calling the program director. Repeatedly. I mean REPEATEDLY. We get ONE call and our PD goes nuts.

Email the PD ([email protected]) and the Chief Engineer ([email protected]). I used to work there, and I know one of the asst. engineers is fond of the HD and keeping it up.

Hopefully they get it fixed - only other HD's at the shore are WRAT, WJRZ, and WBJB.
