This is a question for Wendell Breland: I've heard from a source within ETV that the Oxford transmitter will go digital sometime this year. Do you know when this is scheduled to happen? I'm looking forward to some DTV in North Mississippi!

wildcardseven, The consulting firm is almost done with the bid writing. The bids should go out soon afterward. Channel 16-DTV Biloxi, Channel 20-DTV Jackson, and Channel 36-DTV Oxford are scheduled to go on-line in calendar 2001.

The permanent Channel 20-DTV Jackson will be 50KW at about 457M (1500ft.) HATT. Channel 36-DTV Oxford and Channel 16-DTV Biloxi will be similar.

Thanks for you support and check MAETV for news on the DTV roll-out through out the year.
