I am looking for an amp that will do Music and HT well.

I have been able to break a deal on an AMP-2 for 1125 shipped from a second owner.

The originall owner was apparently a HI-FI shop somewhere. This unit was bought as a Demo.


I guess the main question would be has anyone owned an AMP-2?


I am always looking for a suggestion for a two channel amp. Seems like I should roll the dice on the Proceed.


Other choices include the Bryston 9B-ST and the Dreadnaught by THETA!

Also EAD Power Master Series, Citation 7.1, and maybe a Krell not finding any deals on Krell though?


I would really like to buy an amp that can be re-sold easily without a hude loss untill I can afford a Dreadnaught or Classe'!


Can someone tell me where the deal is going down on the Cinepro's?

I tried the Proceed Amp 2 for a while. Very nice amp, but not very powerful. You should also spend less then that amount. It is a discontinued model.

I actually did spend less than that amount!(for the citation that is)


I bought a Brand New Citation 7.1 which will be operating bridged at 450X2 at 8 ohms.


Guess I will be getting another Citation if I end up liking this one if not I should be able to sell it for very near what I paid and plenty of time left on the five year warranty!
