I have seen the Sony 4k's used almost as much as DLP's, but not sure about 3D, I'm sure it's mostly DLP.

Not sure, all I know is that out of the last 4 movies I saw at the theater (1 was Sony, and 3 were DLP I think). LCOS doesn't have much advantage at the theater because commerical LCOS projectors really don't have that much better native on/off than commerical DLP's (due to the huge amount of lumens they are both pumping out). They are a little more contrasty.
