I just bought the Sharp DT-510 a few days ago to upgrade my current LCD projector, however I'm wondering if I should replace my 35 ft VGA cable for a 35 ft HDMI cable. I can get one for quite cheap. I know some features get disabled depending on the connection you use, are there any features that get disabled with VGA and not HDMI or vice versa?

Also, I was thinking of getting an HDMI to HDMI cable and an HDMI to DVI adapter rather than a DVI to HDMI cable in case I ever need HDMI to HDMI, is this a good idea? There's not much in price difference.

Thanks

Go with the HDMI cable and use the DVI adapter. As for the quility difference I can't say anything about VGA.... never used one, but my HDMI gave me a little sharper picture over my 35ft RGB cables on a 720p projector.
