I think that any variation between pics of the 75U and 711XU would be more do to the photos than any real difference in the projectors. Of course, this is probably true of most of the images posted here. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing 75U pics myself.

I'd like to see how the pictures look compared to the ae100. Yes, I know screen pics aren't a great way to compare with different lighting ad camera etc but I'd stil be interested non-the-less

Since the pictures seem to be held up at the photo lab....


I would also be interested to hear from some 711XU and 75U owners for their recommendations on screens. I know a Parkland Plastics DIY screen is a great low cost solution, and one I may use, but I would like to hear about all options available.


Does Stewart or Da-Lite make a sub $250 screen that would be a good fit? 16:9 or 4:3? Masking?


I have an itchy trigger finger and may shoot for the 75U this week.

I have had good luck with a DIY screen painted with glidden universal grey paint. see post below
