i cant wait to see those effects in 1080p

Some people are panning it thought...that being said, it'll still make a heck of a lot of money for Disney

AND I can't wait to complete the set and get this 3rd part in Blu-ray!

Well, I have really mixed thoughts on this movie. It was good, but definitely the weakest of the three, and the first one remains my favorite. The biggest problem is that it felt like the first 2 hours were made up as they went along, just to fill in a plot that makes absolutely no sense just to get what the movie was meant to be about, the final battle of Davey Jones. The final 45 minutes of the movie were down right fantastic, and that is what I think made the movie. It is definitely something that is going to require additional watchings to understand what the frig was going on, but like I said, it was good. The ending was very satisfying, and I loved how Jack outwitted Barbosa this time... again.

Overall, I'm going to give this movie a 4/5 stars just because of the final 45 minutes to the movie. Nevertheless though, I can't wait for it to come out on BR so I can rewatch it 5 times over to see if the plot makes more sense.

you seriously have some issues if this plot of confusing because its very basic

there are 3 main characters

jack

will

elizibeth

follow those stories you should be fine

its like if you complained about star wars being to complicated because you did not know what happened to wedge or jarjar at the end

Well having the theater not turn all of the speakers on until the part where they are going to free Calypso and having 8 teenage brats you wish you could just strangle sitting behind you wouldn't help matters.

i guess i could see where you are coming from

because i also had a entire theater full of Depp loving teenage girls that were very noisy

you didn't see it in digital projection?

As long as Dreamworks makes Paramount change the audio, Transformers will be The reference disk.

USA Today reviewer panned it (as I posted here ), but early movie goers on IMDB are giving it an 8.6/10 (1,577 votes cast). This is higher than the early Spiderman 3 reviews of 8.2 when 2,700 votes were cast.

Here's to hoping PotC 3 doesn't drop all the way to a 6.9 ranking like Spiderman 3 did.

www.michaelbay.com and ask him to do it. I am sure he will have some influence on it.

This title will sell BD hardware...people will buy a PS3 to watch AWE in BD. The effects are awesome. It won't win a best picture oscar, the PQ just might

Thank God i live here in midtown Atlanta. The number of children and teenagers living here is limited. I may see a few every now and then but when I visit my parents out in the burbs and they take me to a movie, its like I'm in a high school.
