I keep hearing that you need bigger amps to really get the most out of these speakers. So I am curious as to people's personal experiences with 90W, 100W, 110W, or more amps and the differences they can hear.

Whoops. Meant WPC (Watts Per Channel)

WPC isn't as critical as having an amp or receiver that can handle the impedance dips to 3-4 ohms that these speakers exhibit.

Can someone explain why the impedance of those speakers drops? How do you know if an amp can handle that? Is it more than just pure power?
