Wrong guide info?

Anyone having a problem with wrong guide data? A recent recording of "Relic Hunter" on Saturday night ended up being an infomercial for vitamins...a recent Buffy the vampire slayer recoding ended up being something else. My machine has been logging in on a daily basis...these are theme based recordings.

This isn't a new thing; tv stations often put other things on without bothering to notify anyone about it.

One of the worst offenders on my cable system is SpikeTV. It is only on from 6AM to 2AM on my system, and in the interim my cable puts in badly spliced infomercials. If ever I'm recording Highlander, it tends to cut the last 4 minutes or so from the episode. Of course, my channel guide has the listings for SpikeTV, and not the crap-o-mercials on for those four hours.
Hey, *that's* for *men*! :D :D
Well, the SpikeTV I get cuts over to Infomercials at 3:00AM, which is good, because it means I can catch "7 Days" in reruns.

It's bad because they usually chop the ending scene off when they do the cut over (Comcast).
