What options do I have for recording OTA HD, from the built in tuner in my Mitsubishi WS-65813. I would like something that uses a firewire input. Are there any options besides D-VHS? Could I record with my PC via 1394?

I have the WD65732, and am also curious about hooking up a firewire drive, or a PC as a recording destination.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Try a used cheap Mac. It's a lot easier.

You cannot hook up a PC to your TVs 1394 because the TV is looking for a video device.

You can however buy an AV disc, such as this: http://www.indigita.com/products/cus...ions/avhd.html
