I was in CC and turned the unit around and all they had in the rear was RCA in. This is the first name brand that I have seen omit this. I did not check the front of the unit. This pic from the owner manual confirms it. BTW it does RAM.

Pics from Manual download provided by your link shows S-Video jacks front (pg. 12) and back (pg. 13). Were you wearing your glasses?

No -I am not sure-that is why I used ?- Can you link? It is not on the link I gave nor did I see it in the store.

Also page 18 and it shows S-video OUT not IN also. My glasses are on. So is my link- It is not in the rear.

Apparently there are no rear S-ins. Does make you wonder?

Here is something even wilder- The Hitachi site says they are supposed to have s-video IN, front and rear- WTF? You think the chinese manufacturer forgot to do it? Please refax those specs please.

I'm with you...it makes no sense at all to not include S-Vid on the rear inputs if they provide it on the front. Me thinkee...Somebody screw up bigtime.
