You need a device that can connect to the audio output (either digital or analog) of the TV and that has a headphone output.  Any recent surround receiver will work (as well as give you other options and abilities).

Your TV has a set of connectors on the back that says "AV Out." One of them should be yellow or marked differently that is for video and you don't want that. But next to it are a pair of "RCA" jacks (red and white) that output the audio. Get yourself a wireless headphone like this: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-RS120-Wireless-Headphones-Charging/dp/B0001FTVEK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1392589196&sr=1-1&keywords=wireless+headphone . Hook up the bass unit to the RCA jacks on the TV and you should be good to go. The headphones are wireless which is what you want rather than a long cord going across the room.

The only problem is, I have not looked up how you turn off the TV speakers. Hopefully there is an option for it in the TV menus.

Amir, after all the grief that you have tried to cause me over my cost-effective recommendations I find it ironic that you end up recommending the above. I have a pair. I don't use them any more for reasons of sound quality. They are practically obsolete 900 MHz analog devices with a wealth of audible artifacts.

Several years ago I obtained a pair of RS160s which are vastly improved and use what appears to be something like a 44/16 PCM link. I literally loved those to death. But instead of just replacing the headset I then obtained a pair of RS170s.

Any of these headphones should work well when connected to the analog audio jacks on the OPs TV set.

The OP's TV set also has Toslink digital outputs, which might make the RS 220 with a digital input a good choice.

I was not recommending that unit but rather saying to go with something like those wireless solutions as opposed to wired. But I get your point
. My favorite wireless headphone is this TDK unit with "Kleer' technology: http://www.amazon.com/TDK-WR700-Wireless-Fidelity-Headphones/dp/B003E49GRC/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1392609717&sr=1-2&keywords=TDK+headphone

It sounds superb, is very comfortable and importantly has very low latency so lip sync would not be lost. My wife uses it all the time to listen to her movies on her laptop remotely.

Unfortunately the unit is discontinued so it is hard to find. I tried to buy another one from ebay and they shipped the wrong unit! It was a pain to get it returned for credit as they did not have the right one. Recommend buying it through Amazon's third-party service if anyone is interested.
