I'm a big X-files fan and I picked up this set at BB the other day(Still only need seasons 7&8 to finish the entire series) while I was watching an episode "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas" I noticed some video problems that I can not put a name too. On this episode it seemed that a few shots that were especially dark the background patterns didn't look right. The patterns that were black or very dark had a strange hue, possible purplish tint. I'm wondering if anyone can put a name to this? I don't recall seeing this on another episode that was fairly dark. Other then those very dark scenes the PQ looked pretty good upscaled.


I was watching this on a 55A200 with a Toshiba HD-A1 through HDMI.
