I suspect they do but was not able to verify via manual or website.

I want it this way to do my system calibration/measurements., ie pumping some test signal out to my pre/pro via toslink and capturing my external ADC's digital signal through Toslink in....all simultaneously (the full duplex part).

Well the X-Meridian card accepts SPDIF and transmits it...if this is what you want to know.

The card will encode 5.1 to spdif but will not accept a ecoded signal on the spdif inputs. only spdif. Seems fine aslong as it;a two channel digital signal...i.e Not encoded.

I guess the question is this: can it do the spdif in at the same time it is doing the spdif out?

I mean, I figured the ports are functional when using one at a time but can they be used simultaneously, ie capturing through input while playing through output?

Thanks guys. Since I'm just using the digital portion is it a no brainer to go with the B-Enspire since it costs less? I would certainly pay more for higher quality drivers if there is a difference.
