X1 black border

I am driving my X1 with a momitsu 880. It plays my PAL discs fine using my 800x600 custom res,with the picture filling the entire screen, but when I play an NTSC disc at 720p (i can't use the 800x600 res with NTSC discs as the picture is very poor?) there is a 2-3 inch black border down the right hand side of the pic, ie it does not fill the entire screen.

Any idea guys???

Have you tried to adjust the screen using the horizontal movement adjustments to see if it will move and fill in that border? I think its under the advanced menu.

I could try that, but when I view PAL discs in the custom res, they will then not fit the screen.
