I am building a DIY ceiling mount for my X1, My screen is 96" x 54" (110" dia) and my ceiling is 9' high. my screen is going to be centered on the wall (27" from ceiling and floor) using the offset formula of 132.9% for top of image to center of lens.
1) What is the perfect length of my mount from ceiling to x1?
2) What is the best distance from front of lens to wall?
3) Optically is it better to be in the middle of the zoom or not?
