I am planning to buy Infocus X1 after reading all the glowing reviews here. I am planning to set it up in my family room using ceiling mount.

I know that X1 does vertical keystone correction to display a square image. My question is, can X1 also do horizontal keystone correction? The problem I have is that the family room has a ceiling fan in the center so the projector has to be mounted slightly off center from the middle of the room.

Is it possible to do this with X1?

Thanks.

No solution. A less than elegant solution. I have a temporary screen, painted wall, my painted frame fits the keystoning. It is only a couple inches difference between top and bottom but this would be more of a problem with a made screen(frame), same top and bottom measurment. You can't tell it is keystoned by looking at it only by measuring. If you are to the left or right only a small amount you may be able to live with the small amount of keystone. The only way to tell is to temporary mount and try it.
